I'm generally sore today, because I decided to make good on my New Years Resolutions for once. I walked/jogged two miles today at 6 in the freezing cold. That was fun. (NOT REALLY.) I kept thinking, this is the kind of thing I did when I was in athletics. I hated atheltics!

But I'm going to keep doing it anyways, because I do need to get back in shape. Marching band only does so much for you, and we had a short year this year.

And I was teased about it. There's a reason why I don't like running, Erik. --;

I saw Avatar, and it was flipping amazing. <3 It ranks with Star Wars, although the soundtrack hits a much lower bar. Really, no words can describe the complete awesomeness that the graphics are. Probably because nothing movie-wise compares to those graphics. The aliens looked more real than the humans did. How's that for awesome?

There was a Doctor Who marathon going on on BBC America last week, so halfway through I decided to sit and watch it. The very first episode of Doctor Who I watched ever was "The Stolen Earth". I watched the episode after that and I was completely hooked by the sheer epic-ness and amaziacity. (Yes. It is so great, it needs a made up word.) Thank you Nicole, for helping me understand it more than I would have, because I started watching at a really weird place. I watched the specials that were shown after it, and loved them all. You can really feel all the strain and turmoil the Doctor must have been but through emotionally, because at some points towards the end ("The Waters of Mars"), he looks like he's about to go insane. Of course, "The End of Time" episodes were like, the best thing ever, and utterly heartbreaking at the end. BUT, I'm really looking forward to the next season! The new Doctor looks like he'll be good as well.
